The Graduate Society for Nutritional Sciences was formed to promote professionalism amoung graduate students in the area of nutrition and to develop unity among the nutrition graduate students across campus. GSNS also strives to provide opportunities for graduate students to interact with the community by service activities and to foster nutrition and health awareness by sponsoring events that increase the group's visibility.
The GSNS also organizes the Russell Klein Memorial Nutrition Symposium, a premier mini-symposium in central Ohio that highlights current nutrition research.
