Graduate study at OSU will offer an opportunity to work with faculty across multiple colleges and disciplines with access to a veterinary medicine center, medical center, the Ohio Agricultural Research Center (OARDC), and state of the art research facilities with faculty whose research areas span nutrition, biochemistry, microbiology, epidemiology, genetics, and the -omics. Students graduating from OSUN will receive a Ph.D. in Nutrition.

All students receive financial support for the duration of their Ph.D. studies by fellowships and/or associateships from the University, Program and/or advisor, and department.

Outstanding students seeking to earn a graduate degree in food science, human sciences, or human nutrition are encouraged to apply for consideration for the USDA NIFA National Needs Fellowship Program.  There are currently two grants that are supporting students.  Please visit the following websites for more information:
