I am interested in solving the puzzle and investigating mechanism-based dietary patterns’ role in developing subsequent diseases such as type 2 diabetes and pancreatic cancer, by using an epidemiological approach. I am also interested in developing and conducting human subject clinical trials based on available evidences of dietary patterns. Currently, I started exploring how best to incorporate the analysis of metabolomics data to clarify knowledge gaps existing among the intertwining relationship among diet, obesity, and cancer. My ultimate goal is to translate these findings to lower the public’s chance of having diseases, one important piece of life quality and well-being.
